Most Sunday mornings we offer a 1¼ hour zoom video session from 9:30 – 10:45 UK time. The sessions open from 9:15am onwards so that you can join and say hello to other participants, then we begin at 9:30am.
We usually offer teaching, meditation, optional time in breakout rooms to share experiences, and a short time all together at the end when participants can contribute to a discussion if they choose. There’s no cost for taking part, but if you would like to practise generosity, please consider a donation to your local food bank.
This is the last session of our current theme, exploring the Brahmaviharas (friendliness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity) not just as personal practices, but as a radical framework for engaging with our collective existence on earth. We can all find that when the world’s problems feel overwhelming, a sense of helplessness or compassion fatigue can numb our natural empathy. Together, we’ll look at how these profound teachings empower us to respond skilfully to the complex challenges beyond our immediate horizons.
Next Sunday 16 August, Judith Soulsby is offering some personal reflections on the four BrahmaViharas.
To take part, you can click here on Sunday between 9.15 and 9.30am.
